25 years is a serious anniversary – the silver anniversary, in fact – so our friends at HBO approached us with a tall order: how do we commemorate the gold standard of an art form? How do we celebrate one of the greatest television shows ever created? How do we honor The Sopranos 25 years after it originally aired? We had no other choice than to give fans, both existing and prospective, an unforgettable way to experience The Sopranos like never before…

25-Second Sopranos
How do you properly pay respect to The Sopranos on the 25th anniversary of its legendary premiere? Simple – you take each episode of the greatest television series ever made (all 86 of them) and you condense roughly 60 minutes of action-packed, genre-defining runtime down to a lean-and-mean 25 seconds. Wait, did we say simple?
Satriale’s
Few other shows cast food itself in as central a role as The Sopranos, and one of its most iconic locations is the crew’s favorite hangout, Satriale’s Pork Store. And since a 25th anniversary is cause for celebration, we whipped up a one-of-a-kind chowdown for fans who have always wanted to try Jersey’s finest for themselves: an official Satriale’s pop-up (one in NYC and one in LA), offering an original Tony-inspired Italian sandwich. How did the fans respond? With a mobster-sized appetite, selling out both locations in less than 2 hours. All this from a slice of gabagool? You better believe it.

Duck Day
There’s one thing we all think of when we think of Tony Soprano, infamous mob boss of the DiMeo crime family, right? Right – lover of animals. This is evident from the very first episode, where we see a gleeful Tony welcoming a family of ducks after they move into his backyard. Long revered by fans as a cornerstone of the series itself, we decided to pay homage to the ducks by welcoming them back to Tony’s backyard for a one-day-only livestream on social – 25 years after they first appeared.
