P.F. Flyers is a legacy sneaker brand known for its classic canvas shoes and cultural recognition from The Sandlot. Under new ownership in 2023, the brand set out to reignite growth and reconnect with both loyal fans and a new generation of sneaker buyers.

Despite strong cultural nostalgia, the brand had never run a full-scale paid media program. To grow the business, P.F. Flyers needed a modern demand engine capable of translating awareness and heritage into measurable ecommerce sales.

The Insight

To revive P.F. Flyers as a modern sneaker brand, nostalgia needed to be activated as a reason to rediscover, and buy, the shoes again.

The Approach

We built P.F. Flyers’ first modern comprehensive ecommerce media program designed to capture demand and expand the brand’s audience.

We began with revenue-driving channels, launching paid search and paid social campaigns across Google and Meta to capture high-intent shoppers and convert existing brand familiarity into sales.

As performance accelerated, we expanded the strategy to include storytelling and awareness formats that could introduce the brand to new audiences. YouTube and TikTok helped extend reach, showcase the heritage of the brand, and build interest among younger consumers.

At the same time, we supported the broader ecommerce ecosystem with ongoing SEO and Amazon storefront audits to improve discoverability and streamline the path to purchase.

With early sales momentum established, we worked with P.F. Flyers to launch the brand’s first dedicated awareness campaign in 2025. Using advanced audience insights, we identified key consumer segments and tailored messaging to reconnect them with the brand’s history while positioning P.F. Flyers for a new era of growth.
